Students in grades kindergarten through 6th grade are welcome to come and be a part of Awana at First Baptist Church. Awana runs on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:30 p.m. during the school year with a free meal at 5:15.

The Awana commanders at FBC are Bob & Laura Williams, pictured here with their son, Caleb!

For more information about Awana, contact the church office.

The Awana program is a program of Bible study and memorization paired with  games and activies to help students come to and develop a faith in Christ. Each weekly meeting time includes large group time, game time and handbook time. Trained leaders and volunteers are ready to step alongside young people as they grow in their faith, and the program is divided up into age-appropriate levels of learning and activity.

Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. This level is for students in grades K-2.

T&T engages 3rd-6th graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ's grace.
