What are Worship Services Like?

  • Worship is our response to God's revelation of who He is and what He has done.  In other words, as we discover more and more about God and experience more and more what He does in our lives, our best response is...WORSHIP!  At FBC, we come together each week to express our love, admiration, gratitude and devotion to God.  We'd love to have you as our guest as we worship the Lord together!

  • We have two Sunday morning worship services from which to choose:  one at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 10:45 a.m.  The services are identical so choose the one that best fits your schedule.  Our worship services blend the comfort and familiarity of traditional hymns with the excitement of contemporary worship songs through both instrumental and vocal music.  Our praise team, Exaltation, the Sanctuary Choir, and the Praise Band lead worship on a rotating basis in both services

  • Members of FBC Effingham also worship by giving, and through prayer and Bible study.

We have Bible Study classes for everyone from babies to senior adults.  These Bible studies meet at 9:30 a.m.  To find out more, click HERE.

While we encourage you to give as the Lord leads, we don't expect or pressure visitors to put something in the offering plate.  The appropriate time and amount to give is between you and God.

Our Prayer Team meets once a month on the 1st Monday of the month at 6:00. Anyone is welcome to attend thesse meetings. To submit a prayer request, click HERE.

Sound Enhancement Devices

Assisted Listening Devices are available during the Worship Service.  For assistance, please inquire at the Visitor Center just inside the main entrance.

Sign Language Interpretation

A sign language specialist is here to interpret our first service (8:30 am) on the 2nd and 3rd Sundays of the month.
